Luego de meses de investigaciones autoridades del Condado de Ventura arrestaron a una banda de narcotraficantes que operaba en el Condado de Ventura.
La Unidad de Delitos Especiales de la Oficina del Alguacil hizo una investigación que ha llevado a numerosas detenciones, así como a las incautaciones de narcóticos y armas de fuego.
El 30 de mayo de 2017, el equipo del Alguacil del Condado de Ventura en el Condado de West Narcotic concluyó otra parte de esta investigación con el arresto de Salvador Andaya, quien fue identificado como una fuente de metanfetamina en esta investigación.
A principios de 2017, los detectives recibieron información de que se vendían estupefacientes del Centro de Auto de Santa Paula en 1055 E. Main Street en Santa Paula.
Se inició una investigación y se determinó que el dueño del negocio y sus asociados cercanos estaban organizando envíos de metanfetamina y cocaína hacia y desde el negocio.
La investigación reveló también a otros traficantes de narcóticos de la zona, que posteriormente identificaron a Andaya como proveedor de metanfetaminas.
El 30 de mayo de 2017, los investigadores ejecutaron una orden de registro en una residencia en la cuadra 14000 de South Butler Avenue, en la ciudad de Compton.
Durante la búsqueda de la residencia, se encontraron aproximadamente 3 onzas de metanfetamina, una balanza y un arma de fuego.
Una búsqueda de uno de los vehículos de Andaya reveló un elaborado compartimiento oculto, que contenía 11 onzas adicionales de metanfetaminas, una pistola cargada, una balanza y pruebas escritas de ventas de drogas.
Andaya fue arrestado en su residencia durante el servicio de la orden cateo.
El narcotraficante fue arrestado por poseer metanfetaminas para su venta, ofrecer metanfetaminas para vender, y cargos por portación de armas. Andaya está actualmente bajo custodia en el Departamento del Alguacil del Las autoridades del Condado de Ventura fijaron la fianza $500 mil.

ARRESTADOS POR ROBAR Y VENDER AGUACATES
Los detectives del Alguacil del condado de Ventura de las estaciones de Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Ojai y de la Sede, junto con detectives de la División de Servicios Especiales del Alguacil, sirvieron cuatro órdenes de cateo en todo el condado de Ventura.

Un total de 13 armas fueron incautadas, incluyendo 2 armas de asalto, una pistola de asalto Mac-11 y 6 pistolas.

ATRAPAN A LADRON DE TELEFONOS
El Departamento de Policía de Santa Bárbara (SBPD), luego de una incansable y profunda investigación llevada a cabo por sus detectives, identificaron y arrestaron a Juan Antonio Barajas, de 32 años.
El sujeto de 32 años oriundo de Santa Bárbara, es acusado de un robo comercial ocurrido el pasado 25 de mayo.
El crimen fue cometido en la tienda Sprint ubicada en el 1011 de la Calle State, por lo que San Barajas fue llevado a la cárcel del Condado de Santa Bárbara por delito de robo comercial.
El día del crimen a aproximadamente a las 11:22 de la noche, varios testigos llamaron al SBPD por un robo en desarrollo.
Oficiales llegaron rápidamente después para encontrar a los testigos.
De acuerdo al SBPD, los testigos estaban caminando en State St. cuando escucharon una alarma.
Al llegar a la parte delantera de la tienda, observaron vidrios de la vitrina y la puerta en el suelo.
Para su sorpresa el sujeto aún estaba dentro de la tienda colocando los artículos en una bolsa. Llevaba una sudadera con capucha, guantes y una máscara.

Las imágenes de video recopiladas en el interior de la tienda muestran al sospechoso usar algún tipo de honda para romper el cristal y luego entrar en la tienda.
Una vez dentro, el sospechoso procedió a cortar los cables de seguridad en varios de los teléfonos de pantalla y otras mercancías relacionadas y colocarlos en una bolsa.

Over the past several months, the Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit has been investigating a drug trafficking organization working in Ventura County. The investigation has led to numerous arrests as well as narcotic and firearm seizures.
On May 30, the Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Narcotic Street Team concluded another part of this investigation with the arrest of Salvador Andaya, who was identified as a methamphetamine source in this investigation.
In early 2017, detectives received information narcotics were being sold from the Santa Paula Auto Center at 1055 E. Main Street in Santa Paula.
An investigation began and it was determined the owner of the business and his close business associates were organizing shipments of methamphetamine and cocaine to and from the business.
The investigation also revealed other area narcotic traffickers which subsequently identified Andaya as a methamphetamine supplier.
Last week, Investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the 14000 Block of South Butler Avenue, in the city of Compton.
During the search of the residence, approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine, a scale, and a firearm were located.
A search of one of Andaya’s vehicles revealed an elaborate hidden compartment, which contained an additional 11 ounces of methamphetamine, a loaded hand gun, a scale, and written evidence of methamphetamine sales.
Andaya was arrested at his residence during the search warrant service.
Andaya was arrested for possessing methamphetamine for sale, offering to sell methamphetamine, and weapons charges.
Andaya is currently in custody at the Ventura County Sheriff Department’s Pre-Trial Detention Facility with bail set at $500,000.
His next court date is set for June 27 in Courtroom Division 12.
The West County Street Narcotics Team is comprised of narcotic detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and the Oxnard Police Department.
GANG MEMBERS ARRESTED
After a month long investigation into a street gang based in the unincorporated area of Ventura County, 10 gang members were taken into custody for for various weapons violations and warrants for arrest.
Jose Aguilera (Oxnard), Jose Diaz (Oxnard), Rodger Willoughby (Somis), Anthony Salas (Oxnard), Gerald Silva (El Rio), Jeffrey Magdaleno (El Rio), Joshua Magdaleno (El Rio), Florentino Rodriguez (Ventura), and two more Male Juvenile were arrested.
The operative took over 80 law enforcement officers who served search warrants at 8 locations early last Thursday.
The criminal street gang targeted in the investigation has recently been committing robberies, assault with deadly weapons, and illegal weapon and drug possession.
Due to the violent nature of the gang, two locations required members of the Oxnard and Ventura SWAT teams to safely make the arrests and search for weapons.
At each location that the SWAT teams searched, firearms were located.
A total of 13 firearms were seized, including 2 assault weapons, a Mac-11 assault pistol, and 6 handguns.
All of the guns were operable and readily available to members of the gang. The investigation into the origin of the guns is on-going.
The Sheriff’s Gang Unit, in partnership with the Oxnard and Ventura Police Departments, state they are committed to reducing violent crimes plaguing many communities.

AVOCADO THIEVES ARE ARRESTED
Ventura County Sheriff’s Detectives from the Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Ojai, and Headquarters Stations, along with detectives from the Sheriff’s Special Services Division, served four search warrants throughout Ventura County.
The warrants were served on the suspects’ work location (Mission Produce’s Dufau Road Facility), as well as at all three suspects’ residences.
The warrants resulted in the arrests of the three suspects listed above.
All three were employees of Mission Produce, and all three worked at a facility on Dufau Road, in the unincorporated area of Ventura County that is patrolled by deputies from the Sheriff’s Camarillo station.
Detectives began their investigation in late May (2017).
Allegations were made that employees at Mission Produce’s Dufau Road ripening facility were conducting unauthorized cash sales of avocados from the facility.
During the investigation, detectives obtained evidence that confirmed the allegations.
They also learned that the illegal sales had likely been occurring for several months.
The victim (Mission Produce) estimated the value of the stolen avocados at over $300 thousand.
The investigation is ongoing as Sheriff’s Detectives are looking into the possibility that the suspects sold the avocados to unknowing customers, who thought they were paying Mission.
SPRINT’S THIEF IS CAUGHT
After a tireless, in-depth investigation Santa Barbara Police Department detectives, were able to identified and arrested 32 year old, Juan Antonio Barajas of Santa Barbara.
The 32 year old man from SB is the main suspect for a commercial burglary which occurred on May 25.
The burglary was committed at the Sprint retail store located at 1011 State St.
Barajas was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail for felony commercial burglary.
The day of the crime, at approximately 11:22 p.m, a burglary in progress was reported to the SBPD by several witnesses.
Officers were quickly dispatched and arrived shortly thereafter to find the witnesses standing by.
It was reported the witnesses were walking on State St when they heard an audible alarm sounding.
Upon reaching the front of the Sprint store they observed glass on the ground and the front door broken out.
To their surprise a male subject was still inside the store placing items into a bag. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a mask.
When the suspect inside realized there were witnesses outside watching him, he quickly exited the business and ran southbound on State St taking the bag with him.
Video images collected from within the store show the unidentified male suspect use some type of slingshot to break out the glass then make entry into the store.
Once inside, the suspect proceeds to cut the security cables on several of the display phones and other related merchandise and place them into a bag.
