Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes Endorses Lanhee Chen for State Controller

Today, Lanhee Chen, candidate for California State Controller, announced the endorsement of Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes.

“As a leader in the law enforcement community, I see first-hand the importance of making sure that our efforts to keep our communities safe are properly funded. Lanhee Chen believes in transparency and accountability, and he will be an independent-minded State Controller who makes sure that our money is being spent where we’re told it will be. I am proud to support his candidacy,” said Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes.

Chen added, “We owe Sheriff Barnes–and all the men and women in law enforcement–a debt of gratitude. They put their lives on the line each day to keep our communities safe. I pledge to make sure that taxpayer dollars set aside for public safety are actually spent to support the brave men and women who put their lives in danger to protect us.”
