Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Golden Boot Club Partner Target invite fans to participate in the Club’s 2021 Season of Giving.

Throughout November and December, LAFC and Target will continue to be a Force For Good, hosting events and volunteer opportunities that bring the holiday spirit to thousands of families and community organizations throughout the greater Los Angeles Area.

Community members interested in volunteer opportunities during the LAFC 2021 Season of Giving presented by Target can register HERE.

As a ‘Force for Good’ in the community, LAFC and Target will host a full slate of community events beginning Tuesday, Nov 16 with a Thanksgiving Food Distribution at Banc of California Stadium.

Fans and staff will team up to distribute 500 Thanksgiving meals complete with fresh turkey and trimmings courtesy of Target, as well as a box of fresh produce vegetables courtesy of LAFC Partner Melissa’s Produce and a box of shelf stable pantry items generously donated by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

Meals will be offered to pre-selected families and distributed in a COVID safe drive-thru at Banc of California Stadium.

LAFC staff will come together to support Union Rescue Mission with a day of service in November, helping to prepare and serve dinner as the Mission celebrates Thanksgiving.

The Season of Giving continues with the LAFC virtual Holiday Toy Drive in partnership with Target.

Kicking off on Black Friday, Nov. 26 and running through Dec. 8. Community members will be able to select and purchase items from a carefully curated Target ‘wish list’ registry for the children of Union Rescue Mission.

The toy drive will be followed by a holiday gift wrapping volunteer event; all leading up to the Black & Gold Holiday Party on Dec. 14 at Union Rescue Mission’s Hope Gardens Family Center.

LAFC will also participate in Magic Johnson’s Holiday Hope event hosted by LAFC Co-Owner Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

With the help of LAFC partners Melissa’s Produce, Farmer John and members of the Club’s front office leadership team as volunteers, LAFC teams up with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Rams at Challengers boys and Girls Club to provide food, household essentials, toys and gifts for 800 families in the Los Angeles metro area through a drive through event.
