A former Democratic candidate for president, Julián Castro served as secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Obama from 2014 to 2017, and as mayor of San Antonio from 2009 to 2014.
He’ll open A&L’s Justice for All series this Sunday, in a talk where he will be sharing insight from his political journey and actionable ways we can effect change.
Castro, is one of the most influential Latino figures in the US politics.
