Chick-fil-A is adding a digital extension to its family-friendly brand with the launch of its new app, Chick-fil-A Play™, available to download on November 18.

The app aims to offer a unique space for families to connect and spend quality time together, providing a range of interactive entertainment options for all ages.

“The goal behind Chick-fil-A Play is to provide families with a digital playground that brings them closer together,” said Dustin Britt, executive director of brand strategy at Chick-fil-A, Inc.

The Chick-fil-A Play app is designed to be used anywhere – whether families are enjoying a meal at home, in the drive-thru, or on the go.

It features a variety of original content, including animated shows, podcasts, games, and crafts, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

A New Way to Connect and Play

Chick-fil-A, Inc., which is the third-largest quick-service restaurant chain in the United States, known for its freshly-prepared food, customer service, and unique franchise model, continues to expand its presence across the U.S. and beyond, it’s looking to strengthen its reputation as a family-centered brand.

According to Britt, the Chick-fil-A Play app is a reflection of this commitment, encouraging families to engage with each other in fun and meaningful ways.

With a strong emphasis on shared experiences, the Chick-fil-A Play app is packed with family-friendly activities that go beyond the usual mobile entertainment.

            •           WATCH: Original animated shows featuring the beloved Chick-fil-A Cows in the fictional town of Evergreen Hills. These episodes are designed to be enjoyed together on a TV or tablet and offer wholesome, fun adventures for all ages.

            •           LISTEN: Kid-friendly podcasts that are perfect for car rides to school, practices, or weekend road trips. These scripted audio stories will entertain young listeners and provide parents with family-approved content on the go.

            •           PLAY: A variety of games, jokes, and conversation starters that are guaranteed to get families talking and laughing together, whether they’re dining in or on the move.

            •           CREATE: Families can tap into their creative side with video-based recipes and kid-friendly craft ideas. From kitchen experiments to easy-to-do art projects, these activities offer interactive fun for everyone involved.

            •           READ: A collection of e-books and interactive stories, available at your fingertips. These are designed to be simple and accessible, offering light-hearted reading for families, wherever they are.

Britt stated, Chick-fil-A’s commitment to family and community has long been a cornerstone of its business model.

That is the reason the company is well-known for its family-oriented initiatives, from kids’ meals that come with educational books and toys to its clean, welcoming restaurant play areas.

With Chick-fil-A Play, the brand is moving beyond the restaurant experience to reach families digitally. The app’s content is designed to be enjoyed together, fostering stronger connections during meal times or any family gathering.

“We know how valuable family time is, especially in today’s fast-paced world,” Britt added.

“This app is about helping families make the most of their time together, whether they’re on the road, at the dinner table, or anywhere in between.”

Chick-fil-A Play will be available for free download starting November 18.

It can be accessed through major app stores, and it’s compatible with a wide range of devices.

Parents and kids alike are encouraged to dive into the app’s content and explore the endless ways to play, watch, listen, and create together.

With over 3,000 restaurants across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, the company employs more than 200,000 people through its network of independent owner-operators.

In 2023, the company announced plans to expand into Europe and Asia by 2030.
