Bank Robbery

On Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Port Hueneme Police Department received a 911 call reporting a robbery at the CITIBANK branchlocated at 739 W. Channel Islands Blvd in Port Hueneme.

The suspect entered the bank location, approached the teller, and demanded money. He stated he was armed.

No weapon was seen however. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot eastbound through the parking lot.

Officers arrived on scene within four minutes and checked the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

The suspect was described as a short, White or Hispanic male, around 5 feet tall, in his 60’s, gray hair, wearing a black ball cap with white lettering, black jacket, black mask, and blue jeans. No injuries were reported.

This branch was closed throughout this investigation and later re-opened.
