Authorities are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon on the 900 block of Carpinteria Street, according to the Santa Barbara Police Department.
Police dispatch received a call at 1:06 p.m. reporting that a woman had entered the bank, claimed she was armed with a gun—though no weapon was seen—and demanded money from a teller.

The suspect fled southbound on Milpas Street on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of cash. She was described as a white woman in her mid-to-late 20s with long, light brown hair. She was wearing a light pink sweatshirt and black leggings at the time of the robbery.
No injuries were reported.
